A Payroll Giving Scheme allows companies and colleagues to work together in showing support for good causes.
Donations can be made direct from salary, to ANY charity or good cause. Charities receive donations tax free, meaning donations cost less for the giver, and with Pounds for Pledges the charity gets another £1 too!
70% of people in the UK give to charity. If all these kind donations were given through Payroll Giving, charities could benefit from an extra £900m a year.
Here at Hands On we are trying to encourage more people to take advantage of this scheme, whilst giving something back to the third sector too.
