Companies recognising the benefits and potential of setting up a Payroll Giving Scheme first need to register with a Payroll Giving Agency. The monies deducted from employees’ salaries are sent to the Payroll Giving Agency and they distribute these to the appropriate charities.
Hands On Helping are pleased to announce that they will be working with Charities Trust and Charitable Giving to administer the Pounds For Pledges scheme.
“Charities Trust is delighted to work with Hands on Helping and congratulate them on their new initiative Pounds for Pledges where hands on helping pledge a donation to Charities from their fees. This is a great new innovative promotion. Charities Trust encourage other organisations to give, and Hands on Helping have done just that! – They are a great beacon.
This initiative not only engages with employees but will encourage employers to promote Payroll Giving more, which is fantastic for charities as this will raise the profile of tax effective giving as well increase the donations to charity, a win win situation for all.” – Well done Hands on Helping!!”
